The first-born Flying Star (1987) is located in the historic Nob Hill District on old Route 66. Nob Hill is a profusion of classy clothing shops, antiques and world wandering, gift shops. The neighborhood's proximity to the University of New Mexico and its concert halls keeps the clientele colorful and the cafe hopping day and night. The Nob Hill Hospitality Room (Conference Room) serves as a central meeting place for the Nob Hill-Highland Districts as well as UNM.
