HISTORY Gallery LouLou opened the first Gallery of Rock & Roll Photography in the Southwest in 2007. We featured the iconic collections of:
JIM MARSHALL, BARON WOLMAN, ELLIOTT LANDY, BARRY LEVINE, GERED MANKOWITZ, JERRY SCHATZBERG AND MANY OTHERS.
All things do change when you live in Santa Fe. We closed the gallery in 2009, and have repurposed our two story home/ gallery into a Vacation Rental. We have maintained our relationships with these extraordinary photographers, and many of their collections remain in the house.
Not until you spend time in Gallery LouLou, will you understand the influence these photographs may pass on to you.
This is what separates us, from a traditional vacation rental. Along with the vintage photographs, we have a selection of Rock Performance DVD’s, vinyl, CD’s, and photography books.
Gallery LouLou was awarded a State Cultural Designation plaque, and is located in the Historic downtown district. The home was upgraded in 2004 to allow for preservation to mix with modernism.
The house is across the street from La Posada Resort and Spa. We are arranging a special pass with Rock Resorts to offer our guests pool and spa privileges.
LOCATION
• 1/4 mile from Canyon Road, which leads to the HIKERS AND BIKERS wilderness, Santa Fe Ski
Valley and the Sangre de Christo Mountains.
• The house is sandwiched between two outdoor living porches, one with BBQ overlooking the garden.
• The garage was converted to an outdoor film room, with a projector to view DVD’s.
• The house is all hardwood floors, with French doors accessing the front porch, so you live in-and out.
• The dining and living area are connected, and the kitchen accessible to the back porch.
• There are three private bedrooms and two baths.
• Our game room, with slot machine, and flat screen, is also suitable for overnight on a sleeper sofa, with a private entrance and in-room bathroom.
• Two porches: One in front with garden of roses, and tiny little side terrace, back yard garden is beautifully landscaped, with a second porch area. Pear and apple trees, roses, lavender etc.

Washer and Dryer – Large basement
Full size Vintage refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, and pantry. Bean grinder, French Press, and a complimentary pound of Italian Roast.
Bathrooms: Two full size bathrooms: Two tubs, one jetted, two showers.
Bedrooms: Three Bedrooms upstairs, one game/den/bedroom downstairs with private in-room bath, and separate entrance.
La Posada offers fabulous spa treatments, two restaurants, bar and dining al fresco all the summer.
Fine and Casual Dining steps from your door.
We have had six exhibition receptions over the last year and hosted up to 300 people. We cannot get people to leave, once they step inside, they stay!
