| We're part of Heritage Hotels and Resorts, a locally owned, New Mexico-based hotel company, and the most experienced film lodging company in the state. The new Hotel Chimayó de Santa Fe (formerly Hotel Plaza Real) is located just steps from the historic Plaza, and continues to be a favorite for visiting filmmakers. Our beautiful suites offer the comforts of home, and those with kitchenettes are ideal for longer stays. Many feature cozy kivas (fireplaces), private balconies, handmade weavings, and custom, locally-crafted artwork. The hotel also has a third-floor wing with 4 connecting bedrooms and a central large living room with full kitchen, perfect for private parties and film-related events. The hotel restaurant and bar can be rented out for private events or location shoots. In fact, we’ve hosted multiple shoots in our hotels and know the ins and outs of hosting productions big and small. |
