We are a member-supported site, and we require that paid members/users purchase their membership via credit card. Examples of areas on the CREW site where we collect personal or combined personal and demographic data are pages where you can open a CREW account, create a CREW Classified Ad, create your profile, sign up to use a service, post a resume, enter a contest or purchase a product.
We offer the following services, all of which require some type of voluntary submission of personal information by users:
1. Electronic newsletters policy (Dispatches)
We offer a free electronic newsletter to those who have opted to receive it. You will have to provide us with your first and last names, and valid email address to receive the newsletter.
2. Membership
In order to become a member of crewnewmexico.com, you must join the site through a credit card transaction. As part of that transaction, you must provide us with the following information: name, email, billing address, telephone, date of birth, and credit card details.
3. Purchase of goods or services.
The purchase of any service from crewnewmexico.com requires a sales transaction using a valid credit or debit card or PayPal account. As part of that transaction, you must provide us with the following information: name, email, billing address, telephone, date of birth, and credit card details.
4. Surveys
crewnewmexico.com, LLC may occasionally conduct surveys that help provide us with information on how we’re doing, and how we can better serve you. We sometimes share the aggregated demographic information in these surveys with our sponsors advertisers and partners (ie, how many members we have), but we never share any information about specific individuals or businesses with any third party.
INFORMATION CREWNEWMEXICO.COM, LLC GATHERS AND TRACKS
crewnewmexico.com, LLC gathers two types of information about users:
Information that users provide through submissions made while joining the site. This is the information that you use to fill-out your membership forms as well as the information you post on your profile.
We also gather aggregated tracking information derived mainly by tallying page views and traffic throughout our sites. This information allows us to better tailor our content to readers' needs and to help our advertisers and sponsors better understand the demographics of our audience. While we may provide quantitative data to our own service providers, we never share personal data, statistics, contact information or credit card accounts, or compromise your personal identity, privacy, or online habits in any way, ever.
Under no circumstances does crewnewmexico.com, LLC divulge any information about an individual user to a third party.
crewnewmexico.com, LLC tracks web traffic patterns throughout all of our sites. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users. CREW does break down overall usage statistics according to a user's browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser).
CREW sometimes tracks and catalogs the search terms that users enter in our Search function, but this tracking is never associated with individual users. We use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites users like and don't like based on traffic to those areas. We do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better service for you.
EXTERNAL LINKS
The CREW site contains links to other Web sites over which we have no control. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of other Web sites to which you choose to link from our Sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those other Web sites so you can understand how they collect, use and share your information.
We attempt to limit access to our searchable resume to legitimate industry uses, but cannot guarantee that other parties will not gain access to this database. We are not responsible for the use made of resumes by third parties who access such resumes while they are in our searchable database. However, the portions of your searchable resume (not your contact information) that are automatically made public in your profile are accessible to anyone who uses the CREW service. You may remove your resume from CREW, leave it out, or delete your profile on CREW at anytime, but other parties may have previously viewed or archived your resume. We are not responsible for the retention, use or privacy of resumes or profiles in these instances. Our terms of service prohibit external users from using our site information outside of very strict parameters.
ACCESS TO AND MODIFICATION OF YOUR INFORMATION
You may review, correct, update or change your CREW account or CREW profile or at any time. From your CREW account you may also opt out of receiving newsletters and certain other information from CREW. Of course, you can delete your resume from CREWs online database, close your CREW account at any time delete your CREW profile and close your CREW account.
SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We have implemented commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes.
When you place an order online at CREW, your credit card information is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer ("SSL") protocol. SSL makes it difficult for your credit card information to be intercepted or stolen while being transmitted. We do not keep your credit card number on file.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
CREW uses any information voluntarily given by our users to enhance their experience in our network of sites, whether to provide interactive or personalized elements on the sites or to better prepare future content based on the interests of our users.
CREW members who have opted to receive Cast and Crew Call Alerts or Job Alerts will receive occasional to frequent emails or text messages in accordance with this service.
We also gather or may gather certain information about your use of CREW sites, such as what areas you visit and what services you access. Moreover, there is information about your computer hardware and software that is or may be collected by us. This information can include without limitation your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses, but is not linked to your personal information.
We disclose information if legally required to do so, if requested to do so by a governmental entity or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; (b) protect our rights or property or our affiliated companies; (c) prevent a crime or protect national security; or (d) protect the personal safety of users or the public.
CHILDREN
Consistent with the Federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting parental consent. In addition, all members of CREW must provide a valid credit card, or, all accounts by members of any age must be opened by someone with a valid credit card.
COOKIES
We may place a text file called a "cookie" in the browser files of your computer. The cookie itself does not contain Personal Information although it will enable us to relate your use of this site to information that you have specifically and knowingly provided. But the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can't read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. CREW uses cookies to track user traffic patterns (as described above). Our advertising system delivers a one-time cookie to better track ad impressions and click rates.
You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser. If you've set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies, you will receive the warning message with each cookie. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use this site.
THE PUBLIC DOMAIN
Any time you post information about yourself or your business online, that information enters the public domain and can typically be found with ease by using google.com or other free search engines. While CREW has strict policies regarding the dissemination and use of such information, we cannot guarantee that others users of the internet will abide by similar policies. We suggest you consider carefully the type of information you wish to make public. It is at your discretion what information you wish to provide. As a courtesy to our members, we provide an option by which you may be contacted through our website via a contact form and you may keep your email address private.
SECURITY
CREW operates secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our customers.
OPT-OUT POLICY
We provide you with the opportunity to opt-out of receiving our newsletters or promotional email announcements at any time. Contact us right away if your request is not processed properly by our automated system.
YOUR CONSENT
