Two brothers—one a lawman and the other a murderer, meet in a dusty saloon littered with the dead bodies of bounty hunters. Ethan and Asa coolly reminisce about their childhood, discuss philosophy and the book of Genesis, and finally reenact a modern-day Cain and Abel confrontation with tragic results.

Incredible Films and Writer-Director Christopher Michael Roybal – Descansos (2009), The Spanish Room (2010) – are currently casting for the documentary-drama Letters To Our Daughters.
Roybal is collaborating on the film with the New Mexico Community Foundation, IATSE Local 480, and a slew of local non-profit organizations that work with single-mother, head-of-household issues in the hope of starting a movement around supporting and investing in women.
The parts still needed to be cast for the fictional narrative portion of the film are:
1. Young Girl: Age 5-7
2. Teen Girl: Age 15-17
3. Young Woman: Age Mid 20's
4. Housewife: Age 40's
3. Elderly Woman: Age 70-90.
If cast, you will be needed for one to three days of filming in Albuquerque or Santa Fe between June 17 and June 24.
All the parts in the fictional narrative portion are silent and need little preparation. Participants will receive meals, copy and credit.

Preliminary Casting for a StrikeTV.com film series, The Promised Land. The Promised Land was created by filmmaker Michael Grais, and will be produced and directed by Grais and Gary Cook, Head of UNM’s art program.
This low budget production is part of the UNM-Taos film program. Filming will start in late July.
Please note these are non-paying positions.
Auditions are open to both student and non-student teenagers age 15 to 19 and adults 23 to 60 years of age. Actors will be asked to introduce themselves on camera for 1 min or less. The film series, The Promised Land, is set in TAOS, New Mexico.
The drama surrounds two families: One Anglo, one Hispanic. All cultures will have a place in this positive drama.
Casting location will be at UNM-Taos Klauer Campus, Saturday, June 12th at 11am. |

Filming in ABQ for one day, Rehearsal for 3 days. If you are looking to get some quality film experience or showcase your serious acting talent, this will the be a great vehicle for you.
The storyline is dramatic and needs a strong actor who can create an emotional character to drive the story. If you have a love of acting but have not had a chance to showcase your talent this might be what you need.

SYNOPSIS:
Jessica arrives home and is seemingly very upset and drained, physically and emotionally. She gets a phone call from her mom(she could speak Spanish to her or some other foreign language but would sacrifice that for better actor).
Jessica then gets another phone call and we discover through her conversations that she just had an abortion. She has come back from the clinic, getting dropped off by a friend and she needs someone to spill her soul to about the traumatic event she has just endured. Her next call comes from her best friend, who wants to find out how she is doing, Jessica reveals her reservations about going through with the procedure but then her reason for going through with it is revealed, she was a rape victim and got pregnant from the attack. She tells her best friend that the hardest part is having to tell her mother, who is too self involved to be burdened with Jessica's problems or so Jessica believes. Jessica makes that last call to her mother to tell her the truth. |
