About Location

Pecos River Ranch sits on 6,000 acres of classic high desert country at elevations of 6,500 to 7,500 feet. Over six miles of the magnificent Pecos River traverse the ranch, lined with towering ponderosa, cottonwood, box elder, and willow, along majestic rock cliffs carved out by the river. Virgin growths of piñon, juniper, and Gambel oak cover the hillsides. During wetter summer months, when Ranch receives refreshing afternoon rains, there are expanses of wildflowers.  Our wildlife includes: deer, elk, bear, wild turkey, coyote, cougar, and bobcat, bald eagles, red-tailed hawks, blue herons, and wild ducks. There are a number of different micro-climates and landscape types on the property, including riparian areas, mesa, forest, scrubland, pastures, canyons, and, of course, the Pecos River.

We also offer private housing for above-the-line personnel, and offer cast a pre-production retreat and training facility prior to, and during, production. We support or provide equine training, a gym, personal trainers and chefs. We can provide you with your training support and health/wellness personnel, or you're welcome to bring your own crew. We offer a number of housing options for the cast member, and their support team.
